What you’ll achieve as a Principal Software Engineer,
- Design, Implementation, validation and delivery of Solutions customized for Telco customers
- Lead solution teams and collaborate with Product, QA and documentation teams
- Create reference architectures, white papers and other literature for customers
Essential Requirements :
- Detailed understanding of 3GPP specifications as related to CU and DU and RRU. Exposure & knowledge of O-RAN specs, TIP/OpenRAN projects, and ONF SD-RAN.
- Strong knowledge in 4G and 5G architecture, standards, implementation, and ecosystem
- Deep knowledge of hardware architecture trade-offs embedding high performance CPU, DSP, GPU, NPU and FPGA devices, their high-speed memory subsystems, and interconnect solutions, network timing and synchronization, stratum clocking, including remote and outdoor applications
- Experience with bring-up and integration of CPU, DSP, GPU, and NPU devices
- Experience of development including vIMS, vEPC, RAN, OpenRAN/O-RAN, LTE/4G and 5G deployments, OSS/BSS, platform models such as NFV and distributed/federated edge platforms (e.g. ETSI MEC)
Desirable Requirements :
- B.E./B. Tech/ MCA with at least 8 - 12 years of experience or M.E./M. Tech in Computer Science with equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Modern software development processes including test-driven development, DevOps models, continuous integration, continuous testing, agile development with Jira/Git/Bitbucket/Confluence or similar platforms
- Experience as Technical lead of solution development teams with proven track record
