ICMR NIE, has released the job notification for the post of Project Data Entry Operator/Semi-Skilled Worker/Project Junior Nurse/Project Research Assistant/Others for 10 posts. Candidates with the qualification of Master Degree/MD/MS/Any Degree/Diploma/12th/10th are eligible to apply for this job. The selection process is based on the interview. National Institute of Epidemiology :
NIE was established in 1999, by merging the JALMA institute for leprosy. The main objective of this institute to cover and development the human resources in epidemiology. The vision of this institute is to give the vibrant health system through research education & training in epidemiology.

Educational Qualification :
Project Data Entry Operator (Grade A) :
- Intermediate or 12th Pass from recognized board. A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer.
Project Data Entry Operator (Grade A) :
- Intermediate or 12th Pass from recognized board. A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer.
Semi-Skilled Worker (SSW) (Erstwhile MTS) :
- 10th Pass/ High school or equivalent.
Project Junior Nurse :
- High School or equivalent with science subject plus certificate course in ANM with 5 years of experience from a recognized Institute / Board.
Project Research Assistant (AYUSH) :
- BSMS / BAMS / BUMS from a Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) recognized Institution and registered in respective Central / State councils with three years research experience from recognized institutions (OR)
- MD/MS Ayurveda / MD Siddha / MD Unani from a CCIM recognized Institution and registered in respective Central / State councils
Project Technician – III (Lab :
- 12th Pass in Science subjects and two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) OR
- One year DMLT + one year laboratory experience in recognized organization or Two years field / Laboratory experience in Government recognized organization. B.Sc. Degree shall be treated as 3 years’ experience
Project Technical Assistant :
- Graduate in any discipline with 3 years work experience from a recognized Organization (OR) Master’s degree in any discipline
Age Limit :
- Project Data Entry Operator (Grade A) – 30 years
- Project Data Entry Operator (Grade A) – 25 years
- Semi-Skilled Worker (SSW) (Erstwhile MTS) – 28 years
- Project Junior Nurse – OBC – 31 years
- Project Research Assistant (AYUSH) – OBC – 33 years, ST – 35 years
- Project Technician – III (Lab) – 33 years
- Project Technical Assistant – 33 years
