Key Purpose of the Job:
The role holder create customer value propositions, proposal presentations and lead conversations in the respective portfolio and bring synergy along with other stakeholders. Drive and ensure that Analytics is playing pivotal role in providing differentiated customer offerings and solutions, as client move to a data-centric business models
Educational Qualification / Experience required :
- BE(Comp Sc) /MCA graduation required
- Around 5-9 years' experience in Sales, Pre-sales, Strategy, Research and Analysis function within a multinational technology company (preferably cloud services and/or software industry) with 3-5 years in BigData analytics role
- AWS/Azure or any public cloud experiences is preferred
- Native level English language skills. Strong communication, executive presence, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to engage and influence individuals at all levels.
- BigData/analytics related certification is a must
- Customer facing negotiation/presentation experience with specialization in one or more industry verticals.
- Highly motivated, self-starter, strategic/analytical thinker with a "can-do" attitude, flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs and a keen eye for details.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate through a high-paced, fast-changing and sometimes unpredictable work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of proposals for implementation and design of scalable big data architecture
- Participation in customer's workshops and presentation of the proposed solution
- Design, implement, and deploy high-performance, custom applications at scale on Hadoop
- Define and develop network infrastructure solutions to enable partners and clients to scale NoSQL and relational database architecture for growing demands and traffic
- Define common business and development processes, platform and tools usage for data acquisition, storage, transformation, and analysis, review and audit of existing solution, design and system architecture
- Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python or Ruby
- Experience with major big data technologies and frameworks including but not limited to Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Oozie, Mahout, Flume, ZooKeeper, MongoDB, and Cassandra
- Experience with big data solutions developed in large cloud computing infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services, Elastic MapReduce or Azure HDInsight etc
- Experience in client-driven large-scale implementation projects
- Solid knowledge of design patterns and refactoring concepts
- Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis
- Solid technical expertise & troubleshooting skills
- Ability to engage and lead the discussion with customer
- Implementation experience on building Data Lake
