Job Description For CGI Off Campus Drive 2023
Position Description :
- Administer the infrastructure environments under his/her responsibility to ensure the availability, reliability, security and integrity of systems.
- Ensure compliance with policies, standards and procedures related to infrastructure management.
- Participate in software implementation or upgrade projects with other IT stakeholders to identify changes that will be required to the related infrastructure components and ensure that they are completed to a high standard of quality.
- Recommends and implements performance management approaches for the components for which he/she is responsible.
- Participates in the development of standardized configurations and specific solutions based on project and/or user requirements.
- Ensure the proper functioning and security of the infrastructure at all times.
- Provide third level technical support to users in the various sectors of the company
- Promote IT best practices in infrastructure management and user support.
- Be able to provide and identify the metrics required to produce dashboards that proactively identify maintenance to be done to the environment.
- Assist the Senior Analyst, Infrastructure in:
- Develop and document procedures for the infrastructure components under his/her responsibility.
- Document the installation and technical specifications of the infrastructure including security, and succession plans.
Academic background :
- College degree in computer science and/or any combination of equivalent experience
Experience :
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
