Overview
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Associate Buying
for Home & Emerging categories. The role primarily involves managing
seller relationships, onboarding new sellers, driving business development
initiatives, and overseeing key account management within the online retail
environment.
Seller Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing sellers.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with sellers to ensure favorable business outcomes.
- Resolve issues and disputes with sellers in a timely manner.
- Implement initiatives to maximize sales and profitability for key accounts.
- Monitor and analyze seller performance metrics.
- Develop Products and expand the range across all eligible AT’s and Brands.
- Identify and onboard new sellers onto the platform.
- Coordinate with internal teams to streamline the onboarding process
- Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines during onboarding.
- Explore opportunities for expanding the seller base.
- Implement strategies to enhance product assortment and availability.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize seller performance.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Stay updated with industry developments and competitor activities.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven experience in a buying role within the e-commerce industry, with experience in home category.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic
- decisions.
- Familiarity with online retail platforms and seller dynamics.
