Job Description:
To develop, deliver, test and debug code/engineering plans as per product management agreed priorities for the work assigned in accordance with time, quality and cost standards.Documentation of work.To develop & deliver codes for the project/ work assigned by following established standards of quality and delivery SLATo maintain the existing project by resolving/troubleshooting/debugging issues occurring in the existing project/application. To understand client requirements and accordingly develop code to create required features.
We are seeking a talented software engineer that will work with our outstanding software development team on projects that our organization is currently working on. Developing and overseeing software system testing and validation procedures, as well as leading our software programming projects, will be among our responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Designing solutions that will resolve customers business issues to remove all technical objections
- Managing and facilitating challenging and complex proof of Concepts
- Understanding customer requirements and provide solution to automate the infrastructure operations
- Customization of Bigfix deployments to meet customer requirements
- Building scalable, redundant and HA/DR solutions for Bigfix
- Conduct assessments and build automation solutions to reduce manual workloads
Requirements:
- Infrastructure Management for Bigfix from implementation to operations
- Patch Management for Windows, Linux and UNIX based systems through Bigfix
- Knowledge of Configuration management including reporting, change tracking etc.
- Knowledge of DevOps toolsets such as Puppet, Chef and Ansible
- Compliance and vulnerability management through HCL Automation Suite.
- Practice Server build and hardening through HCL OSD or Tivoli Provisioning Manager.
- Custom software deployment and application release lifecycle
- Cross platform experience. Candidates should have an understanding of Windows platforms and
- architecture and be confident working on all flavors of UNIX/Linux
Skills Set:
- Technical Skills (ERS)-Full Stack Technologies-Java
- Knowledge of other System Management and Security tools like Bladelogic, HP SA, Ansible is a benefit
- Good written and oral communication skills, detail oriented approach to problem solving
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal instruction and supervision
- Demonstrated programming/scripting skills (bash, custom relevance etc.)
- Basic working knowledge of SQL and be able to write simple queries
- Demonstrated Windows skills in both Server and workplace solutions, including Active Directory and
- be proficient on UNIX platforms.
- Have an understanding of CMDB (Change Management Database) and ITSM (IT Service Management)
- Understand operational and security challenges in a large enterprise and common pain points.
- Have a good understanding of IT security.
- Have a good understanding of IaaS, SaaS and PaaS offerings
