What you'll do:
- We are seeking a Junior Site Reliability Engineer with 0–2 years of experience to join our growing
- team. This role is ideal for engineers who are interested in cloud-native technologies, system reliability,
- and observability, and are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- You will work closely with senior engineers and development teams to support the reliability,
- monitoring, and performance of distributed cloud-based applications.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Support monitoring and reliability efforts for HPE Networking SASE products
- Contribute to setting up and maintaining dashboards and alerts using tools like Prometheus and
Grafana
- Monitor application health and respond to alerts
- Troubleshooting of production issues and contribute to identifying root causes
- Participate in incident management activities and adhere to standard response processes
- Analysing data from monitoring tools to identify trends and potential issues
- Support maintenance of Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications to ensure high
- availability of cloud based applications
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application behaviour in production
- Participate in on-call rotations
What you need to bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related roles (including internships)
Basic understanding of:
- Monitoring tools (Grafana / Prometheus / Datadog)
- Logs, metrics, and dashboards
Familiarity with:
- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Containers and Kubernetes
Basic knowledge of:
- Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
- Willingness to contribute and learn incident management processes
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)• Willingness to work in night shifts / on-call environment
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to scripting (Python / Shell)
- Familiarity with Linux systems
- Curiosity to learn distributed systems and cloud architectures
- Interest in automation and reliability engineering
