The Collaboration Partner Development Business Specialist is responsible for formulating and executing the partner go-to-market strategy for Cisco Collaboration solutions. The candidate is expected to lead the Collaboration theatre channel initiatives and work closely with the ASEAN Partner Sales team and ASEAN Product Sales Specialists (PSS) team to drive and scale Collaboration business in the theatre. It also involves working closely with the extended APJC and Global Collaboration Partner Sales and Technical team in identifying and enabling key Collaboration partners who are committed to invest and specialize in Cisco Webex solutions.

Responsibilities :

  • Determine partner capacity, coverage and capability needs to formulate and execute partner go-to-market strategies for Collaboration business.
  • Be the owner of the overall Collaboration partner GTM plan for ASEAN with focus on “move to the Cloud” and “sell Webex Platform” initiatives.
  • Work with ASEAN Partner and Collaboration Teams to identify and nominate a list of focus partners (VAR, DVAR and SP) for Collaboration go-to-market including Webex Meeting, Calling, Messaging and Contact Center solutions.
  • Work with ASEAN Partner Account Managers to identify and nominate partners for Partner Acceleration Funds. Drive the successful execution of the Partner investments.
  • Promote and drive adoption of Cisco Webex Cloud solutions for Partner internal use.
  • Drive Collaboration partner sales and lifecycle programs, promotions and incentives to maximize partner profitability and grow overall Collaboration business.
  • Influence ASEAN Distribution team to drive Collaboration partner recruitment, management and enablement initiatives.
  • Drive and support target partners to achieve the relevant Collaboration specializations.
  • Build relationships with software partner ecosystem at the theatre level to help Partners develop vertical or horizontal solutions with Webex.
  • Apply expert Collaboration market and industry knowledge to lead business development activities across all Webex workloads: meeting, messaging, calling and devices.
  • Formulate competitive strategies and drive competitive partner recruitment in ASEAN.
  • Provide ongoing feedback on Global Collaboration GTM programs, as well as general market information such as region/country-specific programs, certification, processes, regulations, competition, etc. to the APJC and Global Collaboration Partner Sales teams.

Who We Are Looking For

While candidates are not required to have all of these experiences/skills, the ideal candidate skill set will include:

  • Experience in Collaboration ASEAN field sales, pre-sales roles with channel knowledge
  • Subject matter expertise in Cloud, Hybrid and On-prem Collaboration solutions and market competitive dynamics understanding
  • A keen understanding of relationship development and influence in highly matrixed environments
  • Experience in designing/driving channel promotions, programs and processes at scale
  • An understanding of strategy, industry, and market concepts (e.g. TAM, Competition)
  • Comfortable in a remote team working environment; self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
