Job Description
As a Software Engr I here at Honeywell, you will develop and maintain software solutions, working on cutting-edge projects that transform businesses. Your expertise will shape the future of technology and industry solutions. You will report directly to our Manager and you’ll work out of our Bengaluru, Karnataka location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Engineer I position for backend development with cloud knowledge
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Proficient in designing and building advanced applications using RESTAPI in C#.Net
- Expertise in designing and building advanced applications using Python
- Should excel in coding microservice solutions.
- Collaborate with senior developers and ship new features.
- Should work with relational and document databases. Proficiency in PostgreSQL and Mongo/Cosmos is expected
- Good in Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Should be proficient with automated unit test using Xunit and Nunit.
- Good with Azure Cloud infrastructure - configuration, deployment and automation of resources.
- Adaptable to Agile practices and methodologies and have experience of working in fast paced scrum teams.
- Should be a thorough team player and work with Architects to understand design and translate in to code.
- Can apply software engineering concepts (OOP, design principles (SOLID), architecture patterns to optimize design and development.
- Should have good analytical and problem solving skills, feedback-driven. Understands performance expectations
- Good verbal, presentation and writing skills to articulate ideas and thoughts.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Experience in software development
