Job Description:
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee at L&T Technology Services, you will go through a structured 15-month program designed to transform fresh engineering graduates into skilled engineering professionals. The first three months are spent in an intensive classroom training environment, where you receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000. This is followed by twelve months of hands-on, on-job training as an Associate Engineer Trainee, where you will work directly on live client projects in your domain. Upon successful completion, you are positioned to take on full-fledged engineering responsibilities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Training (Months 1–3): Attend structured technical training programs covering core engineering principles, domain-specific tools, and LTTS processes to build a strong foundation before going on the shop floor.
- On-Job Engineering Assignments: After training completion, execute real engineering assignments aligned to your specialization — design, analysis, testing, or manufacturing support depending on the project.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and review engineering documents, drawings, reports, and test plans to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.
- Design & Analysis Support: Assist senior engineers in product or system design activities using industry-standard CAD/CAE tools and engineering methodologies relevant to your branch.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams including procurement, quality, and project management to deliver engineering solutions on time and within scope.
- Continuous Learning & Upskilling: Participate in internal learning programs, certifications, and workshops offered by LTTS to deepen your technical expertise and keep pace with evolving industry standards.
- Client Interaction Support: Support project leads during client review meetings by preparing status updates, issue logs, and technical presentations as required.
- Educational Qualification: Full-time B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (EE), Metallurgical Engineering, or Mechatronics from a recognized university.
- Batch Year: 2026 (graduating batch only).
- Academic Performance: Minimum 60% aggregate or 6.75 CGPA in 10th, 12th (+2 / Pre-University / Diploma), and graduation. All marks must be based on latest available scores.
- Backlogs: No active backlogs at the time of application. Selected candidates must clear their final year examination in the first attempt.
- Bond Requirement: Candidates must sign a service bond / undertaking of INR 2 Lakhs for a period of 2 years and 9 months from the date of joining.
- Minimum Age: 18 years at the time of joining.
- Skills Required: Strong fundamentals in respective engineering discipline; good communication skills and willingness to be posted at any of the listed locations.
- The shortlisted students will have to undergo a Technical interview => HR interview.
