Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Engineers to understand product changes, involve in product design, implementation and prioritize testing.
- Component development, framework development and also work on entire software life cycle (req analysis, design, develop, test and maintenance ).
- Open bugs, fix the product bugs and verify/close bugs.
- Ensure our software meets feature, stability, performance and backward compatibility requirements.
- Support for SDDC upgrades, deployment, enhancements.
- 5+ years as a Development or Test Engineer using Exp with REST, Python, JJB (Jenkin Job Builder)
- Experience testing large scale networking and distributed systems.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.
- Networking, Virtualization, Data center configurations and software.
- Knowledge of VMWare vSphere, NSX and APIs.
- Understanding layer3, layer4 protocols, understanding of IPSec, SSL VPN, data center network topologies, stretched networks, DNAT, SNAT, firewalls
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- In-depth understanding of identity and directory services
- Using our tool sets: REST API, Mesos cluster, Python, TestNG and Java for API level testing, Bugzilla for bug tracking, Jenkins for continuous integrations
- Using both Linux and Windows operating systems
- Using VMware vCenter
- Agile and JIRA usage
- Docker container
