Role Overview

As a Data Science Intern at GE Aerospace’s JFWTC Bengaluru, you will be embedded in an active development team working on exploratory projects in Data Science and contributing to real digital solutions that address business problems in the aerospace domain. You will work closely with a dedicated mentor who will guide you through your allocated project, helping you apply techniques from statistics, machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI to build and validate intelligent systems. This is not a passive learning role — you will be expected to analyze, design, test, and integrate components, document your work, and present findings to technical stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Be a part of development team to work on Data Science technologies (statistics, machine learning, deep learning, GenAI)
  • Work closely with an identified mentor on allocated projects. Analyze, design, test and integrate components, that meet business standards and program / product requirements.
  • Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with organization policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and present technical data & document and communicate the results of technical data generated.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Students of B. Tech [3rd Year or 4th Year] or M. Tech [1st Year or 2nd Year] from reputed institutes
  • Candidate has to be from CS/IT stream with Data Science or AI Specialization (preferred)
  • Eligibility Criteria:  7 CGPA/ 70 Percentage & above (with no active backlogs)
  • NOC from college authorities to be submitted before offer issuance.
