Role & Responsibilities:
As an Apprentice at Pearson, you will be immersed in real-world projects, working alongside experienced professionals. The program is designed to provide hands-on experience and mentorship in cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. Roles include:
Software Engineer Apprentice: Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions using various programming languages and frameworks.
Cloud Apprentice: Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to build, manage, and optimize scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure.
DevOps Apprentice: Learn to automate and streamline development and operations processes, focusing on CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and system reliability.
SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) Apprentice: Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of Pearson’s critical systems and services through automation, monitoring, and incident response.
Detailed Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Data Science, or related fields
- Recent engineering students or graduates with less than 1 year of experience
- Must meet requirements under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961
- Must be registered on the NATS portal
- Legally eligible to work in India
