Job Role: Service Desk Role - L1 Support

Language proficiency: C1

Shift: Rotational (including night shift)

Eligibility: BE/BTech/BSc/BCA

Experience: Freshers or Minimum 1 Year experience

Location: Hyderabad, India 


Job Overview

     As the main point of contact for IT problems, a Service Desk L1 Support Analyst offers remote technical support via chat, email, or phone. In addition to maintaining SLAs and updating IT documentation, they log, prioritize, and diagnose problems with the goal of achieving high first-call resolution for hardware, software, and password resets.

Eligibility

  • Experience Range- B.Tech, B.Sc , BCA, M.Tech , MCA
  • Freshers or Minimum 1 Year experience in the similar role

Position Responsibilities

  • Incident Management: Serving as the single point of contact (SPOC) for user issues via phone, email, or chat.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting basic hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues (e.g., printers).
  • Ticket Management: Logging, categorizing, and documenting all service requests in ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
  • Escalation: Escalating unresolved or complex tickets to Level 2 or Level 3 support teams.
  • Account Management: Performing password resets, unlocking accounts, and managing user access.
  • Documentation: Creating and updating knowledge base (KB) articles to improve future resolution times.
  • Technical Support: Installing and configuring software remotely. 

Requirements:

  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Windows, MS Office, basic networking, and user device troubleshooting.
  • Customer Service: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on delivering a positive user experience.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience: Often a fresher or someone with 6 months to 2 years of experience.
  • Shift Flexibility: Often required to work in a 24×7 environment.
