Job Description:
As an ATP (Application Platform) Prod Support professional at Capco, you will be supporting clients in the banking and trading application space, helping ensure their critical systems run smoothly. Your day-to-day work will involve monitoring application platforms, troubleshooting production issues, and using your knowledge of AWS, Python, and SQL to identify and resolve technical problems quickly and efficiently.
This role is best suited for 2024–2025 batch graduates with a strong academic record who are comfortable working in a 24×7 rotational shift environment. Key Responsibilities & Core Contributions
As part of the Application Platform Support team, you will ensure high availability for global banking and trading infrastructures:
Platform Maintenance: Provide functional assistance and platform support workflows for client-facing Banking and Trading applications.
Query Infrastructure Execution: Formulate and maintain structural SQL queries to check data integrity and trace information blocks across transactional tables.
Scripting Automation: Practice basic Python automation structures to optimize log analysis, handle system health tracking, and parse application errors.
Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring: Track distributed applications running on Amazon Web Services (AWS) clouds to capture data flow issues and system bottlenecks.
Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborate with internal engineering teams, cross-functional project leads, and external client stake owners to fix production dependencies promptly.
Core Technical Stack & Skill Prerequisites
- Foundational understanding and basic hands-on training with AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud resources.
- Ability to build functional program structures using Python for parsing data tables and automation tasks.
- Knowledge of database architectures along with efficiency in writing structured SQL commands.
- Exceptional logic formulation, strong analytical reasoning, and data problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written English communication skills to navigate professional client environments.
Qualification / Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Computer Science, Software Systems, or Information Technology
- 2023–2025 batch graduates with a consistent and bright academic record
- Minimum 60% throughout 10th, 12th, and Engineering (BE/BTech)
- Greater understanding of programming languages – AWS, Python, SQL
- Strong presentation skills are an added advantage
