Job Description
We are a developing business seeking a capable systems engineer to support the growth of our computer infrastructure. Working with a group of IT experts, the systems engineer’s duties include designing, configuring, and maintaining a computer network, including system architecture, hardware, and software.
Systems engineers are in charge of creating and configuring a company’s networked computing infrastructure, making sure it functions effectively, and fixing any potential technical problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the development and installation of new networking and computing infrastructures.
- Selecting the best possible solutions using knowledge of a wide range of available technologies.
- Monitoring systems in the existing network to ensure there are no productivity set-backs.
- Installing and configuring operating systems and application software.
- Implementing best practices for system security and data backups.
- Anticipating potential issues or bottlenecks and identifying possible solutions.
- Troubleshooting and resolving all technical issues when they arise.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to Empathize, pacify and handle Irate Customers with Exceptional communication skills.
- Technical Knowledge in Troubleshooting Base Operating system Issues and eager to learn New Technologies.
- Troubleshooting Windows, Outlook, Teams, Citrix. VDI, VPN, Security App etc. over Remote Support
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer’s emails in timely manner.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints.
- Identify and escalate issues to supervisors as and when needed.
- Provide product and service information to customers.
- Research required information using available resources and Offer Solution to customers.
- Research, identify, and resolve customer complaints using applicable software.
- Route calls and tickets to appropriate resources and Domains who can best support he user,
- Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
- Recognize, document, and alert the management team of trends in customer calls.
- Create SOPs for new Issues and resolution given.
- Complete call logs and reports.
