Work you’ll do
As a fresher in this role, you’ll support the cloud and DevOps teams in day-to-day activities. Your focus will be on learning foundational cloud skills, assisting with basic configuration and support tasks, and observing best practices for enterprise IT operations. You’ll receive close guidance and mentorship as you build your skills and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Assist with routine setup, configuration, and monitoring of Azure/AWS resources as guided by senior team members.
- Support basic user access requests (e.g., creating, modifying, or deleting user access in cloud portals).
- Shadow and document troubleshooting activities for simple cloud issues (like VM startup failures, resource quota limits).
- Participate in cloud-based deployment processes and sit in on team meetings to understand project goals and technical requirements.
- Help maintain documentation (installation guides, FAQ, runbooks) for cloud operation processes.
- Follow step-by-step checklists for daily health and status checks of basic cloud services (monitoring dashboards, reviewing alerts, running simple scripts).
- Learn and practice DevOps basics: running sample CI/CD pipelines, version control basics, and observing automation jobs.
- Regularly attend trainings and actively seek mentorship from experienced colleagues.
- Report problems or unusual findings promptly to responsible team members.
Required Technical Skills:
- Basic awareness of cloud computing concepts (what is a server, storage, networking, etc.)
- Interest in learning public cloud (Azure or AWS) and willingness to explore cloud consoles
- Enthusiasm for technology, willingness to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
- Clear written and spoken English for collaboration and documentation
- Proactive attitude towards training and self-learning
- Ability to follow checklists, ask questions, stay organized
- Knowledge of security auditing policies, critical authorizations, and objects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills for timely resolution of complex customer issues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Associate Analyst
This position is a part of Deloitte Support Services India Pvt Ltd, within the Financial Services Group – Payroll and Personnel Solutions service line. For the U.S. paying activities, the team is a key contributor and helps paying over 70,000 Deloitte U.S. professionals correctly each biweekly.
Responsibilities:
- Resolving various payroll inquiries from employees or HR, understand basic payroll transactions and terminology for our organization through different applications
- Co-ordinating Benefits for the eligible employees for different States
- Making employee life cycle changes to an employee record
- Coordinating and working with the team that processes all separations, salary continuations, transfers process payroll/personnel data changes, withholding tax compliance, social security direct deposits, salary changes, sign on bonuses, employee loans and reimbursement for various activities within the payroll
- Handle the basics of the position following the specific instructions, guidelines and set procedures.
- Computing the Leave Payouts for the employees on Leave of absence with stringent deadlines.
- Liaise and coordinate with the HR operations team, other colleagues in the Payroll Team on the scheduled activities.
- Working on Visa reverification statuses
- Collecting wage claims, processing W2C’s and 221’s
- Ensure strict compliance to PII guidelines
Qualifications Required:
- Any graduate, preferably in finance
- 0 – 2 years of relevant experience
- Basic to advanced excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP HR systems and accounting packages
- In-depth experience with payroll processing activities, analysis and management reporting
- Good understanding of business terminology, business operations, and financial policies and internal controls
- Integrity and high ethical standards and commitment to data privacy
- Ability to work in a flexible, high pressure and client driven work environment
- Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills required
- Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize work, document, and report concisely
- A typing speed of 30 to 40 words per minute with data entry capabilities at 4000 keys per hour with 5% or less errors
- Good verbal, written communication and documentation skills
